The new manager has over a decade of prior experience across verticals such as Fintech and SaaS, Banking, and Payments, and also with companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Philip Morris International, Interswitch, and MetaMap. She has a degree in communications from the University of Nigeria Nsukka(UNN) as well as a postgraduate diploma in Digital Business from the Emeritus Institute of Management.
The new manager will be responsible for leading True Caller’s go-to-market function for the company including managing end-to-end operations of True Caller’s expanding operation in Nigeria and also negotiating and collaborating with vendors, service providers, and local businesses with the ultimate goal of making True caller a household name in the region amongst consumers and businesses.
In 2023, True Caller has recorded increased growth coming from Africa, Latin America as well as parts of the South East Asia.
True Caller surpassed 100 million users outside of India during the last quarter and its ambition going forward is to focus on specific markets like Nigeria by recruiting high-profile talent to further accelerate organic growth.
Consequently, in her speech, Ogochukwu said: “A new generation of companies and tools are changing the way we live our lives today, on the back of the digital transformation wave, across the African continent, there is a need to continue to build the trust, privacy, and safety infrastructure“.
